Food for Fines: July 1 through 31

$1 off fines: non-perishable canned goods, pasta
$5 off fines: expensive items such as canned ham and infant formula

Waive up to $10 in fines.

*Non-nutritious items such as candy and chips or items past their sell by date will not be accepted.  Items may be used to clear fines only; not for lost or damaged books or for City Attorney fees.

 

Escondido Public Library Launches New Career Center

Escondido Public Library, in partnership with the San Diego Workforce Partnership/North County Inland Career Center., a non-profit employment and training agency opened the Escondido Library Career Center, located at 247 S. Kalmia St. (next to the downtown library). Hours are :M - F , 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. For more information, call (760) 839-4280.
