8.                  BID AWARD FOR MERCADO AND GRAND AVENUE LIGHTING PROJECT 2010 (REBID) AND A BUDGET ADJUSTMENT Request Council authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute an agreement with Dick Miller, Incorporated, in the amount of $2,185,920, for the construction of the Mercado and Grand Avenue Lighting Project 2010 (Rebid); and a Budget Adjustment in the amount of $600,000 to fully fund the contract award and construction support costs for this project

11.              FIRE STATION NO. 4 RECONSTRUCTION/REMODEL/EXPANSION Request Council provide direction to staff pertaining to four options for Fire Station No. 4 reconstruction/remodel/ expansion of Fire Station No. 4, located at 3301 Bear Valley Parkway in Kit Carson Park

 

Staff Recommendations:  Select Option 3 for hiring an architect and general contractor to start a major remodel expansion (Fire Department:  Michael Lowry)

The City Council is scheduled to meet the first four Wednesdays
of the month at 4:00 and 7:00 p.m. (Verify schedule with City Clerk’s Office)
Members of the Council also sit as the Community Development Commission
and the Mobilehome Rent Review Board.
