The workshops are staffed by master composters and include demonstration and instruction in building and maintaining a backyard compost pile and worm bin.

The workshops are hosted by the Community Garden, in conjunction with the City of Escondido. Cancelled for rain.

All workshops are held on Saturdays, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at the Escondido Community Garden, located on Centre City Parkway just north of Highway 78. Park behind the garden on Morning View Drive.
