Lake Rules and Regulations


  1. No swimming, wading, or bodily contact with the water.
  2. Alcohol prohibited in all areas except the campground.
  3. The speed limits in the park are strictly enforced.
  4. State fishing licenses and daily permits are required for fishing.
  5. Charcoal fires only—no wood or presto logs. EXTREME FIRE DANGER AREA.
  6. No firearms, bows or other weapons allowed in the park.
  7. Pets are forbidden throughout the park including the campground.
  8. Private boats or private gas-powered outboard motors are not allowed.
  9. Lake and shoreline areas east of the buoy line and the dam are closed to the public.
  10. No gathering of vegetation or animals.

Failure to comply with these or other park regulations may cause immediate suspension of camping, fishing, or other privileges within the park by the Park Ranger. All fees are forfeited.
