Digital Storytelling Station
at Escondido Public Library's Pioneer Room
Escondido Public Library's Pioneer Room, in cooperation with the
Media Arts
Center of San Diego is hosting a Digital Community Storytelling Station in
the Pioneer Room Local History Center adjacent to the main library, 247 S.
Kalmia Street, Escondido.
The public is invited to record their stories - and there are so many unique
stories. These stories include personal or family stories, stories from
local history, stories about the community and contemporary stories about
local characters, to name a few.
California of the Past is funded by a grant from the California State Library.
"This is a wonderful opportunity for the public to record their own history and the history of Escondido as well," said Helene Idels, Pioneer Room archivist. "We had several people signed up before the story station was even set up."
