The Wild Animal Park opened to the public on May 10, 1972.

The park is a 1,800-acre wildlife preserve with over 3,500 animals.

The Wild Animal Park has a monorail that takes you on a tour through Africa and Asia so you can see animals in their natural habitat. The park also has hiking trails and animal shows.
